Pick One – Color or B&W?

30 Nov

Introducing a new series of posts entitled “Pick One” where I ask YOU for your opinion. Photographers often hesitate between several versions of their photos. That is why your opinion is helpful in order for me to decide which one to publish in the future. For this fist survey, I am asking you whether you prefer the color or B&W version of this picture. Thanks for your feedback! :)

Photo Of The Day – Taxi!

30 Nov

As many New Yorkers know, it is always more difficult to hail a cab when it rains…Fortunately, I did not need one tonight as I went to the movie theater across from my place. So instead, I just contemplated them, under the rain…

Photo Of The Day – Got Treats?

29 Nov

There’s a very special place in my heart for a hairy monster I call “Muffin”…When I see him so content about his life, I can not help but smile…Hope he will make you smile too! Good night!

Welcome to Hell’s Kitchen

27 Nov

Tonight was amazing in many aspects. Not only did I shoot more people (something I rarely do) but I also discovered where the heart of New York truly beats…In Hell’s Kitchen that is. This was also an opportunity for me to experiment black & white. And my conclusion is that I should do this more often!…I hope you will enjoy this trip to Hell as much as I did :)

ODE TO CENTRAL PARK

26 Nov

King Of The Hill

Fall (sorry, winter – still in denial here-) is one of the best times to go to Central Park…The light, the colors are just too perfect. Most of all, my dog Muffin LOVES to run free among other pooches and the dead leaves. What a blast it is…This is my little homage to one of my favorite places in the city.

Photo Of The Day – (No) Black Friday

25 Nov

Black Friday

There is nothing more foreign to me than to go shopping on the busiest/craziest day of the year! I mean, seriously, why did they invent the internet for? So instead I went to work and by not being interrupted, got a lot done. I even managed to come home early and on my way take this shot if my flat office neighbor! Not too bad for a black day…

One More Time To Be Thankful…

23 Nov

Nothing more beautiful than a crisp winter sky to wish you all a warm and fuzzy thanksgiving day!

Another reminder to just be thankful for what we have and not to be chasing in vain what we don’t have…

I leave you with these words of wisdom from none else but Emerson:

“For each new morning with its light,
For rest and shelter of the night,
For health and food, for love and friends,
For everything Thy goodness sends.”

“I awoke this morning with devout thanksgiving for my friends, the old and the new”

With Love
